Ted Washington Sr. is a former American professional football player who played as a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) for 17 seasons. He was born on April 13, 1968, in Tampa, Florida, and attended the University of Louisville.

Washington was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the first round of the 1991 NFL Draft and went on to play for several teams, including the Buffalo Bills, Chicago Bears, New England Patriots, Oakland Raiders, and Cleveland Browns.
